Winemakers Notes:

Enticing deep and bright cherry color. It is intensely perfumed with a bouquet of red fruits such as cherries and wild strawberries that are so typical from a great Tempranillo. In the palate it is gentle and velvety showing vibrant red berry and cherry flavors. This young wine is rounded off by a subtle and yet seducing spicy finish.

Ruby-red. Fresh black and blue fruit and pungent flower scents carry a vanilla overtone. Seamless and appealingly sweet in the mouth, offering plump black raspberry and boysenberry flavors and vanilla and mocha nuances that gain strength as the wine opens up. Finishes supple and long, displaying silky, slow-building tannins and lingering blue fruit character.-Josh Reynolds

The perfect ripe fruit profile

Tarapaca Organic Red Blend 2014

James Suckling 94pts

Circle Wine & Spirits Price: $17.99

The wine has a ripe fruit profile style with fresh and spicy notes and specially wild aromas from the organic management that we do. The mouth is soft and with minerals tannis and both things are due to the mediterranean macroclimate with a fresh mesoclimate (high influence from the Maipo river and fresh winds) and finally the soil is volcanic with high content of minerals and high porcentage of angular rocks. Rich hearty beef and game dishes are enhanced when paired with this robust and rich wine. Pair this wine with full flavored rich dishes that need a worthy accompanyment.

The Wine Advocate, 90pts

Deep garnet-purple, the 2014 Shiraz Cabernet E Series is a blend of 90% Shiraz and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that opens to a very spicy nose of cloves, vanilla and cinnamon stick with a baked blueberry core. The medium-bodied palate offers tons of spicy fruit that is deftly framed by velvety tannins before finishing long.

From Alexandria, Egypt ro Malaga Spain

Bodegas Botani Moscatel Old Vines 2015

List Price $19.99

Vinous / Antonio Galloni 91pts

The Wine Advocate 91pts - "A steal that I’ve been recommending for a number of years is the 2015 Botani Moscatel Old Vines. Totally dry and made from vines planted in 1946, 1968 and 1975, from the incredibly steep slate and quartz hillsides of Malaga, this is fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel, where it’s aged and bottled after eight months sur lie. An incredibly gorgeous flowery bouquet, super-fragrant and seductive, crisp, elegant wine. The old vines, the beautiful floral notes and stunning, delicate tropical fruits that the Muscat of Alexandria varietal (the oldest clone in the Muscat family) produces, are just something to behold. Not meant for aging, but for drinking in its first year of life, so take advantage of it. For those interested: this is fermented in total stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and bottled early to preserve its incredible aromatics."
